Data-role model: Independent Controllers — Owners can connect a trainer. Amazing Animal Minds Sweden AB (“AAM”, “we”, “us”) remains controller for the app; a connected trainer acts as an independent controller for any coaching they provide. This is supported by an in-app Data Sharing Notice, and trainers must publish their own privacy notice.

1. About us

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amazing Animal Minds Sweden AB Honden Profiel Analyse application and related digital services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Amazing Animal Minds Sweden AB (the “Company”), reg. no. 559500-5736, address fanstavägen 23, 75550 Uppsala, Sweden. Contact: info@amazinganimalminds.com. By signing up to the Service you accept and agree to these Terms. The Terms apply to both consumers and business users. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection legislation applies and takes precedence over any conflicting part of these Terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

To use the Service, you must have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract. The Service is not available to individuals under 18 years of age unless they have the express consent and supervision of a legal guardian. [confirm the intended minimum age — the reviewed source documents referred to both 13 and 18; a single, consistent threshold should be chosen.]

By creating an account on behalf of a company or other legal entity (for example, as a professional or trainer), you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

There are three account roles: owner (the dog's owner/guardian), trainer (a professional who supports owners), and admin (Amazing Animal Minds). Access between roles is governed by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and your consent choices.

3. Service description

The Service is a canine behavioural-assessment tool. As an owner, you answer structured questionnaires about your dog. Based on your answers, the Service automatically generates a behavioural profile, including per-dimension scores, an indication of likely underlying behavioural drivers, an attachment-style indication, and signal flags that may point to matters warranting attention (for example, possible pain or an elevated-risk indicator).

Where you connect a trainer, the trainer can view your dog's profile and assessment results and may add professional notes and feedback to support you. Admin (AAM) may access data as controller for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service supports repeated assessments over time so that changes in a dog's profile can be followed.

4. No veterinary, medical or diagnostic advice

The Service provides behavioural insights and decision-support only. It is not veterinary care, medical advice, a clinical diagnosis, or a substitute for assessment by a qualified veterinarian or a suitably qualified behaviour professional.

Signal flags generated by the Service — including any indication of possible pain, health-related behaviour, or elevated aggression or bite risk — are prompts to seek qualified professional help, not conclusions. If the Service indicates possible pain or a health issue, you should consult a veterinarian. You remain solely responsible for the care, management, welfare, and safe handling of your dog, and for the safety of people and other animals around it.

5. Connecting a trainer & data sharing

You may connect a trainer to your account. When you do, your dog's profile and assessment data are shared with that trainer so they can provide coaching. This sharing is based on your consent and can be withdrawn at any time in Settings → Data sharing; after disconnecting, your trainer will no longer receive new data from your account.

A connected trainer acts as an independent controller and is responsible for their own privacy notice, lawful basis, retention, and security. Where a trainer invites you to the Service, connection with that trainer may be a condition of the invited account; you can still request deletion of your account at any time.

6. Your responsibilities & acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for its intended purpose, and not to misuse it. You must not attempt to access data belonging to other users, disrupt the Service, upload unlawful content, or use the Service in any way that infringes the rights of others.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

7. Automated behavioural analysis

The Service uses automated processing to calculate scores and generate the behavioural profile, driver indications, attachment-style indication, and signal flags described in section 3. This automated analysis is decision-support intended to be interpreted by you and, where connected, your trainer. It does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you as a person. See the Privacy Policy for further detail on this processing.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the questionnaires, scoring logic, profile outputs, text, and design, is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Data you enter about yourself and your dog remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service and, where you consent, to share it with a connected trainer.

9. Fees and payments

Any fees, subscription terms, billing cycles, and cancellation rights will be presented to you before purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider(s); we do not store full payment-card details. Consumer withdrawal rights apply as required by law.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Behavioural profiles are indicative only.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability under mandatory consumer protection legislation. Subject to that, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes relating to the behaviour, health, or handling of your dog, which remain your responsibility.

11. Term and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law. On account deletion, personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in advance in-app and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, subject to your statutory rights.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any contractual or non-contractual obligations arising out of them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.

If you have a concern or a dispute, you are encouraged to contact the Company first so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Consumers may seek alternative dispute resolution through the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) Information about ARN is available at www.arn.se.

For business users, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be finally resolved by the Swedish general courts, with the District Court of Uppsala as the first instance.
